Meet Zack Antoniou
Zack Antoniou is a recent graduate and former Division 1 defenseman at The Ohio State University and Fairfield University who brings a high-energy, competitive coaching style to Nashville Lacrosse Academy.
Zack began his college career at Fairfield, starting all 28 games across two seasons. He earned CAA All-Rookie Team honors in 2022 before being named Second Team All-CAA in 2023, and finished his Fairfield career ranked inside the program’s top 10 all-time in caused turnovers despite playing just two seasons. He then transferred to Ohio State, where he spent his final two collegiate seasons with the Buckeyes. During his senior season in 2025, the Buckeyes climbed as high as No. 2 in the country, established themselves as one of the nation’s top defensive teams, and captured both the Big Ten regular-season and Big Ten Tournament championships.
Originally from Tampa, Florida, Zack was a two-time All-American at Plant High School, where he was a multi-sport captain competing in both lacrosse and football.
As a coach, Zack brings energy, intensity, and a competitive mindset while making it a priority to build genuine relationships with his players. He specializes in working with defensemen and LSMs, focusing on footwork, approaches, on-ball defense, takeaway checks, ground balls/stick skills, and the mental side of the game developing a high-level defensive IQ. Above all, Zack wants his players to play freely, with confidence, and enjoy the process of getting better.
